Cuillin peaks

Most of the time when I was in Skye the Black Cuillin mountains were covered in a dark shadow of cloud, much like the mounatins of Mordor in the Lord of the Rings. For a brief time the Cuillin ridge was bathed in sunlight while I was on Bla Bheinn. This photo looks towards Glen Sligachan. On the left, Sgurr nan Gillean with it's distinctive Pinnacled Ridge, and on the right the Red Cuillen Marsco. I like this image because although Sgurr nan Gillean is a fearsome sight (and dangerous, many have died attempting to climb) it has a kind of magestic invincibility when laid bare of cloud.
